Mind-Body-Soul Connection

The way I think of the mind-body-soul connection is that our thoughts, emotions, and feelings can impact how we physically feel, how we care for our bodies can impact how our minds feel, and all of that is impacted by how deeply we connect with our souls.

Have you ever noticed when you've had a really stressful day, how worn down and drained your body feels? Or how after a joy-filled day, your energy throughout your body feels amazing? Or even after an incredible workout or filling your body with nourishing foods, not only does your body feel good, but so does your mood?

One of the most powerful examples is when you have a gut feeling about something. Sometimes you can actually feel that knowing deep in your gut. We even can store or hold emotions and feelings in our bodies, where we can experience physical symptoms if we don't practice ways to release them from our bodies.

There are many things we can do to care for our minds, and in turn, our bodies, as well as at a soul level, and vice-versa. So many of us know of the importance of nutrition and exercise, but we may not always fully acknowledge how the mind component, balancing environmental stressors, and so much more, are just as important to our overall health and well being.
